LEXINGTON, Ky., Jan. 11, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- The International Coach Federation (ICF) has finalized elections for its 2017 Global Board of Directors with the naming of this year's Vice Chair, Wai K. Leong, MCC (Malaysia), and Secretary/Treasurer, Tracy Sinclair, PCC (United Kingdom).

"The Board of Directors, elected by the members of this organization, is the ultimate governing body for ICF. As such, it determines the strategic direction for short- and long-term ICF activities and monitors the implementation of the agreed-upon plans. We are delighted to welcome four new Board members this year. Their vast and diverse experience and expertise will no doubt help to shape the future of the ICF in 2017 and beyond. We look forward to a great year," ICF Global CEO/Executive Director Magdalena Mook said.
Oliver was elected 2017 ICF Global Board Chair in November 2016. She is an Executive and Leadership Coach, facilitator, trainer, Mentor Coach and Coaching Supervisor. She has been working internationally as a professional coach for 15 years, and prior to that had more than 20 years of experience in a wide range of business sectors and executive positions.
"This year will inevitably be one of change following our extraordinary growth in 2016 to nearly 30,000 ICF Members and more than 21,000 ICF Credential-holders worldwide. Our strategic focus this year will be to ensure that we, as an organization, continue to create the structures required to allow us to continue to grow, uphold our vision and remain relevant to our members and stakeholders around the world. My personal focus will be to ensure we set the priorities that enable us to manage the changes that will be required as a consequence of that growth and to ensure we continue to communicate effectively," Oliver said.
