International Cars, Ltd Increases Minimum Wage To $15 Per Hour

DANVERS, Mass., Oct. 12, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- The International Cars, Ltd. family of dealerships announced that it has raised its minimum wage to $15 per hour at all 5 of its Massachusetts and New Hampshire automotive dealerships.  This increase in minimum wage affects approximately 15 percent of the company's workforce, mostly in administrative, express technicians, express advisors and lot attendant positions.

International Cars, Ltd. first raised its minimum wage from $11 to $13.50 per hour in July 2017 and committed to investing in its employees once again by raising its minimum wage to $15 per hour in February 2018.  The state-mandated minimum wage is $11 per hour in Massachusetts and $7.25 in New Hampshire.  This commitment to providing fair and livable wages to all employees will cost International Cars, Ltd. more than $350,000 annually.
