International Bancard® Names Joseph Valentic CFO

CLAWSON, Mich., Jan. 8, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- International Bancard – an industry leading processing solutions and merchant services company – announced today that Joseph Valentic has been named Chief Financial Officer. 

In this role, Valentic will drive financial and strategic management for the company, including oversight of corporate finance, capital planning, acquisitions and strategic planning. Additionally, he will leverage his bank and credit union expertise to help drive success within International Bancard's financial industry channel. 

Valentic is a financial services veteran with more than 20 years of experience in public accounting, corporate banking and commercial bank consulting. He began his career in public accounting with Deloitte, working in their audit practice. Joe successfully leveraged this auditing and financial experience over the course of 18 years in corporate banking and consulting. During his tenure in banking, Joe excelled as a business development and relationship manager for middle market businesses. He was responsible for marketing and servicing the full spectrum of corporate lending and financial services, including merchant processing solutions.

Prior to joining International Bancard, Joe capitalized on his corporate banking experience as an independent consultant in the commercial banking space. He provided advisory services to both commercial banks and investors in the areas of mergers and acquisitions, due diligence, risk management, compliance review, and SWOT analysis. He participated in over 50 projects nationwide.

Valentic's educational background includes a Bachelor's degree in accounting from Wayne State University and a Master's degree in Financial Economics from the University of Detroit Mercy. He is active in the community, serving on the board of a local credit union, the board of a local Catholic ministry and as a leader with the Boy Scouts of America.
