CHICAGO, June 8, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- The Chicago chapter of the International Association of Business Communicators (IABC/Chicago) celebrated its 2015 Bronze Quill Award winners at a banquet last week at Wildfire in downtown Chicago.
The competition was open to all Chicago-area business communicators who completed a significant project in 2014 that embodied excellence in one of 43 categories across four divisions: communication research management, communication management, communication training and education, and communication skills. Winning entries feature clear objectives supporting an organization's goals, creative communication strategies and effective, measurable results.
"We are pleased to recognize the 2015 Bronze Quill Awards winners! For the past 34 years, our chapter has honored the best of the best in Chicago," said Gabrielle Loring, President of IABC/Chicago. "We received so many outstanding entries that show strong strategic thinking, thoughtful execution and teamwork qualities that influence a company's goals and bottom line."
In addition to saluting this year's Bronze Quill winners, IABC/Chicago honored Mary Hills, ABC, Six Sigma, with the 2015 Karen Utterback Volunteer Award for her years of valuable contributions to the chapter as a volunteer.
