InterMedia Names Christopher Fleury, Ph.D. as CEO
WASHINGTON, July 23, 2014 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- InterMedia, a global not-for-profit research and consulting firm, today announced that Dr. Christopher J. Fleury has been appointed as its President and CEO.
Dr. Fleury, who most recently served as Senior Vice President at the Washington, D.C. office of the worldwide research and consulting firm GfK, will assume his new role at InterMedia on August 18.
For the last 15 years in senior positions in private sector research, he has directed research on U.S. healthcare services; in the financial services sector for clients that included Morgan Stanley, Wells Fargo, and Fidelity; and played key leadership roles on a variety of studies for the U.S. State Department, U.S. international broadcasters and foreign governments.
Dr. Fleury, 46, received his doctorate in political science from the University of Iowa. He has served on the faculties of the University of Vermont, Eastern Michigan University and the University of Michigan. He was a social science analyst at the U.S. Information Agency before its assimilation into the Department of State.
