Intelligent Decisions Becomes Philanthropic Partner of the Tiger Woods Foundation

ASHBURN, Va., Oct. 8 /PRNewswire/ -- Intelligent Decisions, Inc. (ID) is pleased to announce that it has become a Philanthropic Partner of the Tiger Woods Foundation.  In support of this new relationship, ID has provided a majority of the IT products and services required to open two state-of-the-art Tiger Woods Learning Center (TWLC) Campuses located within the Cesar Chavez Public Charter School system in Washington DC. These innovative facilities focus on utilizing a STEM-based (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) curriculum to help students discover a rewarding path to college and careers.

In addition to the 14-acre Tiger Woods Learning Center in Anaheim, the Tiger Woods Foundation has reached more than 10 million young people through original curricula, grants and scholarships. Since announcing its intention to build a Learning Center in D.C. in 2007, the Foundation has funded several multi-year studies and researched numerous locations to determine the most beneficial model for the D.C. community.

The two Tiger Woods Learning Center DC campuses are located at the Cesar Chavez Public Charter School (TWLC-Capitol Hill Campus) in Ward 6, and the Cesar Chavez Public Charter School (TWLC-Parkside Campus) in Ward 7. Both TWLC locations required significant construction and space renovations, including network design and installation. During the construction phase, Intelligent Decisions donated network infrastructure including server racks, Cisco switches, data cabling and battery backup equipment. ID also provided cyber and physical security solutions for access control, motion detection, badge readers and security software licensing.
