Intelligent Decisions Appoints Carleton S. Jones as Senior Advisor

ASHBURN, Va., Nov. 15, 2010 /PRNewswire/ -- Intelligent Decisions (ID) announces the appointment of Carleton S. Jones to the position of Senior Advisor, reporting directly to the President and CEO of Intelligent Decisions, Harry I. Martin Jr.  Mr. Jones will assist in developing and implementing the company's strategic growth plan.

As part of his work at ID, Mr. Jones will work to enhance ID's business development activities, identify beneficial new partnerships with small and large businesses, and foster current relationships.  He will also provide advice and counsel on the full range of business issues facing a fast-growing company like ID.  Having served as President of other successful technology companies active in the federal market, Mr. Jones brings extensive business savvy, federal customer knowledge and relationships, IT experience and proven leadership capabilities.

Most recently, Mr. Jones served as President of INDUS Corporation.  Previously he was President of Multimax, Inc., and then, after the company became a portfolio company of Cerberus Capital Management, Chief Executive Officer.  Earlier, he served as President of Sysorex Information Systems, Inc. and its successor, Vanstar Government Systems, Inc., a subsidiary of Vanstar Corporation, a publically traded IT products and services company.  

In addition to his experience in corporate leadership roles, brings to ID his background as an attorney practicing in the areas of government contracting, technology, and corporate and regulatory government affairs as a partner for many years in the law firm now known as Pillsbury Winthrop Shaw Pittman.  He currently serves on four advisory boards in the federal IT space.

Mr. Jones is a graduate of Denison University and Yale Law School.  He served as a Supply Corps Officer in the U.S. Navy.
