Intelex Technologies Appoints Roula Vrsic as Senior Vice President of Marketing
TORONTO, March 6, 2019 /PRNewswire/ - Intelex Technologies, a leading global provider of cloud-based Environmental, Health, Safety and Quality (EHSQ) management software, today announced that Roula Vrsic has joined the company as Senior Vice President of Marketing. Vrsic's strong marketing leadership at high-scale technology companies and deep product marketing experience make her the ideal candidate for the role as Intelex expands its global footprint and market focus to propel its offerings into the cyber-physical realm of EHSQ innovation for Industry 4.0.
As part of the senior leadership team, Vrsic will lead the global integrated go-to-market strategy to accelerate Intelex's revenue, customer success, brand awareness and market share goals to drive the expansion of the EHSQ market.
"As we continue to scale Intelex globally, we are pleased to welcome Roula to the team. Her extensive experience in building new markets with international marketing strategies will be important in accelerating and solidifying the positioning of Intelex as a leader in the ESHQ space," said Steve Johnson, Chief Commercial Officer at Intelex. "In addition, her demonstrated ability to deliver multi-channel brand and product campaigns will serve us well to further engage customers and accelerate demand for our next-generation Intelex EHSQ applications."
Vrsic brings with her over 20 years of marketing experience driving high-growth for technology companies. Most recently, as Chief Marketing Officer with Agreement Express, Vrsic was a vital member of the senior leadership team which led the company to be acquired in May 2018. Prior to that, was CMO at SOTI Inc., where she led global marketing and market expansion through direct and channel-based approaches and key partnerships including Google, Samsung, Microsoft, Lenovo, Zebra, Honeywell, and a large reseller channel. Vrsic has also held senior marketing leadership roles at WatchGuard Technologies, BorderWare (acquired by WatchGuard), and Platform Computing (acquired by IBM).
"I have spent my career at the edge of business and innovation – bringing disruptive technology to market in competitive environments," said Roula Vrsic. "Intelex is doing just that as they are at the intersection of EHSQ and a new era of cyber-physical opportunities and challenges for organizations with the emergence of Industry 4.0 and industrial IoT. As a marketer, what drew me to Intelex was its thirst for building advanced EHSQ offerings with world-changing and potentially life-saving implications. I am honoured to become part of the senior leadership team, building strategic marketing efforts to help propel the company to a new level of growth and expansion."
This strategic hire comes on the heels of months of significant momentum for Intelex. Recent milestones include notable net new customer acquisition in North America and Europe, expansion of European operations, and strategic partnerships.
