Start the Claims Filing Process as Soon as Possible After the Storm Has Passed, Says I.I.I.
NEW YORK, Aug. 28, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Policyholders with questions regarding their coverage for damage caused by Hurricane Irene should call the number provided on their policies or contact their insurance agent. Those policyholders unable to get to their policies can contact special toll-free numbers set up by insurance companies, according to the Insurance Information Institute (I.I.I.).
