Tim Higgins plans to examine the real tax considerations multinationals face today and offer solutions they can use when moving insurance proceeds (such as claim payments) from one domicile to another. Additionally, he will discuss how global companies can structure their insurance programs to ensure compliance with local regulations.
Barbara Russo, Head of International Programs for Zurich, and Craig Pichette, Partner and Insurance Tax Sector Leader for KPMG will join Higgins on the panel. Russo will provide an overview of the insurance market and compliance, while Pichette will provide insight on the tax considerations involved in moving revenues from one country to another.
