BEDFORD, Mass., April 8, 2014 /PRNewswire/ --Instrumentation Laboratory (IL), today, announced it has been awarded a three-year contract renewal with Novation for its Blood Gas Instrumentation and associated products. Novation is the supply-chain expertise, analytics and contracting company of VHA Inc., University Health System Consortium (UHC), Children's Hospital Association, and Provista, LLC. The contract (LB0412), effective March 1, 2014, also includes an option for two additional one-year extensions. The original contract between Novation and IL was initiated in January 2010.
The agreement covers IL's portfolio of critical care analyzers, reagents, consumables and service, including the Company's flagship GEM® Premier™ 4000 system for blood gas, electrolyte and metabolite analysis with integrated CO-Oximetry testing, as well as the GEM Premier 3500 analyzer.
