Nominations open until January 22 for supply management's highest regarded award
TEMPE, Ariz., Jan. 9, 2019 /PRNewswire/ -- Institute for Supply Management (ISM®) is accepting nominations for the J. Shipman Gold Medal Award, the highest honor awarded by ISM, recognizing outstanding industry professionals. The award is presented annually to a leader and innovator in the field who has dedicated a robust career to advancing the profession of procurement and supply chain management.
Nominees are supply chain and procurement professionals who are acknowledged by their peers as role models, mentors and community leaders within the field, and who work diligently to continuously bring new ideas to the table. Their contributions have helped improve their organizations and the careers of other individuals in the field.
"We are proud to recognize a leader in the field, who has devoted his or her time and efforts to make impressive contributions to the supply chain and procurement profession," said ISM Chief Executive Officer, Tom Derry. "We encourage professionals to nominate a worthy colleague or mentor for this honor."
