ST. GEORGE, Utah, June 11, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- In a recent survey of its factory-certified installers, cellular booster manufacturer Wilson Electronics (www.WilsonElectronics.com) found 44 percent of installers reporting that at least half of their cell booster installations were in businesses, while 23 percent of installers said that the vast majority of their installations (90 percent or more), were residential.

A company official said the results were significant since Wilson's certification program was launched and promoted primarily in the home systems market and the growth in the business segment showed dealers aggressively expanding into additional areas.
"We were surprised to find so many 'residential' installers doing such a large proportion of their booster installations in businesses," said Blake Seese, Wilson's business development manager, custom integration. "We take this as a positive sign that dealers are having success with our products, in terms of customer satisfaction and bottom-line results, and are taking the initiative to grow their business in the category."
Another result of the survey, according to Seese, was that when a Wilson certified installer goes into a business client's location to complete an installation job, 87 percent of them are recommending signal booster systems. "These dealers have learned that bad cell reception is another opportunity to solve a customer problem, one that might not have even been mentioned."
Seese said that more than 900 installers had completed the certification course and passed the certification exam since the Wilson Certified Installer program was launched last fall. The survey, conducted in May, obtained 110 responses from a sample of 600 certified installers.
