Inspirus purchased an existing building on 188th street in Lynnwood. The building is located one block south of Alderwood Mall at 3405 188th St. SW.
The new branch features interactive teller machines, a new technology in the banking industry. The ITMs provide more security and more efficient transactions for credit union members.
"We introduced these machines to the credit union in 2015," said Vice President of Information Technology Kris Hanson. "We're at the forefront of a transformation that's beginning in the financial industry."
In addition to being a technically savvy credit union, Inspirus is transforming the industry through their giveback model. As a not-for-profit credit union, Inspirus focuses all of its philanthropic giving on schools and programs that directly benefit education.
"Opening this branch will benefit our members who live north of Seattle," said President and CEO Scott Adkins. "We've already started building friendships and partnerships within the community, and are excited to continue serving our members and the education community in this area."
The 27,000 square foot building currently houses eight tenants. The credit union plans to lease out the remaining office space. 30 Inspirus employees occupy space on the second and fourth floors of the building.
Join Inspirus at their grand opening events during the week of October 10th - 15th. Visit inspirusCU.org for event details.
