SEATTLE, Nov. 29, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- Inspirus Credit Union celebrates the completion of its renovated headquarters in Tukwila.
The new headquarters adds approximately 8,000 square feet of office space along with an additional 4,000 square feet of garage parking.
The office has space for 200 employees – an increase from the 120 who occupied the original building. An additional 13 conference rooms were constructed in the new space, including an executive conference room named after Inspirus Credit Union's founder and Garfield High School teacher Robert J. Handy.
"Our expanded headquarters gives us more room for future growth, while providing new amenities to our team members, such as a workout facility," said Inspirus Credit Union President Scott Adkins.
The addition was strategically planned to add a more visually interesting design to the existing building while working around the sensitive area of Gillam Creek which runs underneath the property.
The expanded headquarters symbolizes future growth for the organization and a commitment to continue serving the Tukwila community.
"Since moving our headquarters to Tukwila in 2015, we've developed new community partners in this area, and we look forward to continue giving back to our neighbors as they grow with us," said Adkins.
Jackson Main Architecture in Seattle was the architect on the project. The Watershed Company designed the landscaping around the building, and PCL Construction was the general contractor on the project.
