Inspiring Travel Show 'Grannies On Safari' Joins The RLTV Line-Up Next Week
BALTIMORE, March 10, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- RLTV announced today that Grannies On Safari will premiere in their primetime line-up starting next Tuesday, March 15 at 8:00 PM ET. The inspiring 30-minute series will run in a Tuesday night block with the popular travel show Stanley On The Go.
Grannies on Safari was created by Regina Fraser (a former airline executive) and Pat Johnson (a former arts executive). Each episode follows these best friends on their adventures around the globe and off the beaten path. This tireless twosome submerge themselves in the local culture, meeting local artists, trying local cuisine, and going places you may not think grannies would go. As Regina and Pat have made it their mission to help women across the world to become economically independent, the Grannies seek out amazing local women entrepreneurs and explore the successful microenterprises that they have created.
In addition to producing and hosting the series, the Grannies have written several children's books, contribute to the Huffington Post, and are the only "real" characters in the 'Flat Stanley' series.
"It isn't very often that a television series lives up to its name. Grannies On Safari is everything you would expect it to be," said Elliot Jacobson, RLTV Chief Content Officer. "The locations are wild and the Grannies are bold; Pat and Regina are adventurers with great purpose, and we are thrilled to be able to celebrate their experience."
Grannies On Safari airs Tuesdays at 8:00 PM ET starting March 15 on RLTV.
