Latest Installment in Supplemental Education Series Immerses Students in Greek History and Culture
BOSTON, Nov. 19, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- To encourage students to draw real-world connections to their education, National Geographic Learning (NGL), part of Cengage Learning, today released Explore the Greeks, the latest installment of the Explore series that accompanies NGL's core Social Studies resources. The book was created around the exhibition "The Greeks: Agamemnon to Alexander the Great," which opens November 25 at the Field Museum of Natural History in Chicago before moving to the National Geographic Museum in Washington, D.C. in May 2016.

Explore the Greeks is a compilation of articles from National Geographic Magazine that have been adapted for middle school and high school students. Focused on an unparalleled exhibition of more than 500 Greek artifacts, the book features vibrant imagery and thought-provoking commentary from National Geographic explorers and photographers to inspire, engage and excite readers. Explore the Greeks is available at The Field Museum, The National Hellenic Museum in Chicago, and the NGS Museum store in Washington, D.C. as well as to schools across the country as part of the Explore series.
