INRIX's Bryan Mistele Headlines 2016 NPA Convention
"Big Data: Connecting Cars, Parking & Transportation" Opens National Parking Conference September 20 in Atlanta
WASHINGTON, May 26, 2016 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Bryan Mistele, co-founder, president & CEO of INRIX, will open NPA's 2016 Convention & Exposition with a keynote session on Big Data: Connecting Cars, Parking & Transportation. This year's NPA Convention will take place from September 19-22 at the Westin Peachtree Plaza and America's Mart in Atlanta.
At the opening session on Tuesday, September 20 from 9:30-10:30 a.m., Mistele will deliver a compelling address about how big transportation data and on-board automobile data and apps will transform the parking experience for customers and parking operations. Participants will get insights into how to use data more effectively to make smarter decisions for their business and clients.
Immediately following the keynote session, Mistele will lead an interactive roundtable discussion on Technology, Transformation and Industry Change for a rare one-to-one Q&A session. ParkMe is sponsoring both the opening session and the roundtable.
"Bryan Mistele is a proven leader in technology and transportation issues, two key components to the present and future of the parking industry," said NPA president Christine Banning, CAE. "Mistele's dedication to research & technology bring key thought leadership to the industry as parking relies more heavily on technology and integrating with the larger transportation infrastructure."
Prior to co-founding INRIX, Mistele was an executive at Microsoft, responsible for successfully building and managing four businesses within the company, including Microsoft's Automotive, Mobile Services, Real Estate and Personal Finance/Investing business units. Prior to Microsoft, he worked at the Ford Motor Company.
Mistele has served as a member of the Bipartisan Policy Center's National Transportation Policy Project, as a member of the United States Department of Transportation's ITS Advisory Committee, and as a board member of the Intelligent Transportation Society of America. He currently serves on the board of the Discovery Institute, a leading think-tank in the Pacific Northwest.
