Inova Labs Announces Launch of the LifeChoice Portable Oxygen Concentrator With Auto Mode Technology

Weighing only 4.9 pounds, the LifeChoice POC with Auto Mode technology is the first portable oxygen concentrator to automatically detect and adjust patient therapy based on oxygen requirements for periods of activity and sleep. Now patients treated with supplemental oxygen therapy can stay active and sleep well—anytime, anywhere.

During the Active mode, the LifeChoice POC will automatically detect and provide oxygen to support a higher respiration rate. During the Sleep mode, it will automatically adjust the trigger of oxygen delivery to be 10 times more sensitive to detect shallow breathing during rest.

The LifeChoice POC delivers true mobility and independence without tanks and carts. The novel technology can be used as both a portable and stationary oxygen concentrator, providing around-the-clock therapy. The device has a treatment range for prescription oxygen users between 1 to 3 liters per minute oxygen equivalent.

Reimbursed by Medicare and most private insurance plans, the LifeChoice POC is the only technology that features the pulse-wave delivery system to provide oxygen "on demand" congruent with a patient's normal breathing pattern.
