Twilash Advances to Finals Round, New Startup Contestants Announced
KANSAS CITY, Mo., June 13, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Dream Big America (www.DreamBigAmerica.us), powered by Sprint (www.Sprint.com), announced today that the startup, Twilash, is the first weekly winner of June's entrepreneurial competition. Twilash (www.Twilash.com) will advance to the Dream Big America Finals Round on June 27th to compete against the two other weekly startup winners in June.
Twilash, presented by founder Keni Urrechaga, is a design company that develops engineered solutions for the beauty industry. Urrechaga and his team engineered a patent pending product that is an all-in-one for eyelash care and maintenance. The ergonomically designed Twilash applicator allows users to easily curl, shape, apply and remove mascara. Twilash competed in the national Dream Big America pitch competition against PawWash, a paw cleaning tool, and Lo-Bak Trax, a spinal traction device designed to alleviate back pain.
Also during today's Dream Big America Show, three new contestants pitched their startup to the live listening audience. These three featured startups included Anywhere-Fridge, CRESBI Crate, and SeatBelt Guard.
Anywhere-Fridge (www.AnywhereFridge.com), presented by Monica Ortiz, is the world's first portable refrigerator, freezer and warmer that is both collapsible and solar powered.
CRESBI Crate (www.CresbiCrate.com), presented by Linda Fritz, is a collapsible, portable crate system that allows users to transport groceries from the store to home without the use of plastic bags.
SeatBelt Guard (www.SeatBeltGuard.com), presented by Jere Matthews, is a device that will let you know when your driver is texting while they're driving.
