DALLAS, Nov. 7, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- Instructional design pioneer, iDesign, today announced the launch of its 2018 Innovation in Learning Leadership Award, which recognizes educators and learning designers behind transformative educational programs at U.S. colleges and universities. At least two winners will receive up to $5,000 in scholarship to help fund diffusion and knowledge sharing efforts, such as presenting at education conferences, authoring of journal articles, or other work-based projects that showcase innovations in learning design.

The Innovation in Learning Leadership Award, which is awarded annually, recognizes exceptional uses of instructional design to create educational experiences that impact students, faculty, and administrators. A leader in the field of learner experience design, iDesign is passionate about helping colleges and universities harness the potential of emerging technologies to design online, flipped, blended, adaptive, or competency-based courses.
The 2019 Innovation in Learning Leadership applications are now available online. Current iDesign partners are invited to submit proposals until the deadline on December 15th 2018, 11:59 PM CT. Scholarship recipients will be announced on January 15th, 2019.
