Innotrac Passes ISO 9001:2008 Annual Audit
ATLANTA, Sept. 24 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Innotrac Corporation (Nasdaq-GM: INOC), a leader in providing technology-based, integrated fulfillment solutions for global brands, announced today that it has passed the annual ISO 9001:2008 surveillance audit held July 12 – 16, 2010. The ISO 9001:2008 standard is a set of quality practices that ensures the use of effective processes that are consistently monitored and continually improved.
As the industry standard for quality management systems, ISO 9001:2008 certification requires evaluation by an independent, accredited auditing body. KEMA-Registered Quality, Inc. serves as Innotrac's independent auditors. The 2010 annual audit was conducted at Innotrac's corporate headquarters in Atlanta and two of the company's fulfillment centers located in Atlanta and Chicago. All 8 of Innotrac's locations are ISO 9001:2008 certified.
"Innotrac's Quality Management System is at the forefront of how we conduct business," said George Gilligan, Director of Quality and Safety. "Every employee is trained and tested and we continue to raise the bar on our goals for exceeding the requirements."
Innotrac initially received ISO certification in 2002 and has subsequently received ISO 9001:2008 certification in December 2008.
