FREMONT, Calif., April 20, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Innodisk, the worldwide leading provider of flash memory, embedded peripherals, and DRAM will be highlighting products that are "Absolutely On Board" for the networking audience at Interop 2016 in Las Vegas, NV this coming May 4-5, 2016. Attendees are encouraged to visit booth #759 and see form factors that fit and modules for extreme environments. Innodisk will show a powerhouse portfolio of products specifically designed to support the networking industry.
Flash highlights M.2 and mSATA
M.2-SATA (NGFF) is our Next Generation Form Factor designed with the networking industry in mind. The M.2-SATA offers wide range capacities in several standard form factors to fulfill different applications. Highlighted at Interop will be the M.2 3MG2-P. The product features SATA III solution for industrial field along with Innodisk's iSMART health monitoring and error recovery system. With its excellent data transfer speed and anti-vibration mechanical design, it allows for optimum performance under challenging conditions.
Innodisk's mSATA is a low-profile interface connector and is the standard for designers in the networking industry. The mSATA enables a Serial ATA to effectively integrate into a small form-factor drive, which is roughly the size of a business card. It also integrates into a wide variety of platforms used in compact devices. It fully supports SATA III high-performance data transfer rates. Innodisk plans to support this form factor for many years even with the introduction of the M.2 product line.
DRAM highlights the adaptable DDR4
Innodisk supports the networking industry with their DRAM products, 64GB DDR4 LRDIMM and 16GB DDR4 SODIMM modules. They are JEDEC standards and RoHS compliant. The 64GB DDR4 load-reduced DIMM module is a high performance workhorse. Designed with a special buffer to reduce heavy-load data to single-load data, this module allows more memory capacity to be added per channel and helps increase bandwidth and performance.
The 16GB DDR4 WT SODIMM module is a definite need for the excessive outdoor elements that affect the networking industry. The wide temperature DRAM Modules are designed for industrial systems that are exposed to extreme environments, ranging from –40°C to 85°C. The DDR4 WT SODIMM uses industrial-grade SDRAM components with 30u" gold finger to ensure that the memory maintains its high-quality signal. In addition, we are the first and only company to produce this type of WT DDR4 module that withstands varying degrees of severe temperatures and supports specific design needs for outdoor applications.
Innodisk leverages in-house engineering and R & D expertise and offers comprehensive service and support. With unique form factors and tailored firmware designs, Innodisk offers a host of cost effective customizable solutions for the Networking Industry.
