SAN MATEO, Calif., March 8, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Today, InMobi, the world's largest independent mobile ad network, reveals its monthly network data analysis findings in its Mobile Insights Report: Global Edition January 2011. The Android platform now hosts three billion monthly impressions. iPhone OS also continues to grow, but at a much slower rate, with share gains +1.7 pts.
Commenting on the study, James Lamberti, VP Global Research & Marketing at InMobi, comments: "2011 has initiated a massive global consumer transition to high-quality smart devices. This trend will define the next phase of mobile advertising growth for InMobi with smart phone impressions becoming the majority of our inventory globally, not just in the US and Europe."
