InList Launches New iOS App Update & Web Platform
Mobile Booking App Debuts InList 2.0 for iOS
MIAMI, June 30, 2015 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- InList, the revolutionary nightlife and events booking app with access to the top nightclubs, parties, concerts and special events in 45 cities internationally, has officially announced the launch of InList 2.0. After gaining over 100,000 qualified members since launching the original version of the app less than one year ago, creators Michael Capponi and Gideon Kimbrell are ready to reveal an updated version with a brand new web platform.
"As InList's audience continues to expand, we want to ensure that we continue to offer our members the most user-friendly platform possible, while bringing the top events and experiences in every city. InList 2.0 is an enhanced version of the app, and the next step in our evolution." –said Michael Capponi, Co-Founder, InList.
The upgrade, currently available for iOS users, brings new features including live in-app chat with InList's personal concierges; easily navigable calendar offering the ability to select events on future dates with ease; the ability to select arrival time per booking; in-app notification system prompting users about upcoming bookings, pending quotes and messages; and Apple Watch compatibility for push notifications. Last but not least, members can now utilize "I'm On My Way" and "I'm In" buttons, which notify both the venue and personal concierge of the customer's arrival to ensure seamless assistance until the member is "in." An upgrade to InList's Android platform is coming soon.
InList 2.0 also brings other notable announcements for the app including a significant expansion into Southeast Asia; now, top-rated nightclubs and venues in Hong Kong, Macau, Bali, Singapore, Manila, Bangkok and Jakarta have become a part of the InList family offering users traveling to the Far East access to premium parties and events in this dynamic part of the world. The expansion into Asia also served as a part of a larger expansion, which has doubled InList's global availability from 25 cities to 45 cities. InListers can now land in any of 45 cities, find out what's happening that evening—whether it's Fashion Week in Paris or a movie premiere at the Sundance Film Festival—and book it on their mobile phone in a matter of minutes. No phone calls, lines or hassles. Additionally, the new version of the app, which previously only offered VIP table bookings, will now offer nightclub reservations in a range of pricing, meeting the needs of every InList member.
"Borrowing from principles of lean engineering, we stripped away all the fat on the old version of the app using what we have learned about how the end user expects the booking process to occur. Booking nightlife and special events is anything but a linear process. After months of feedback, this new version enables users to secure reservations in a way the client feels most comfortable, with a tech-enabled human element involved with each booking and the assurance of being able to reach a nightlife expert any time with just one tap." –said Gideon Kimbrell, Co-Founder, InList.
In the first few months following its launch in Miami, InList boasted over US$1 million dollars in in-app sales, becoming one of the fastest-growing nightlife mobile apps and is quickly approaching the US$2 million mark. The fast-paced growth has only served to motivate additional enhancements and offerings, with plans to expand further across the globe, including upcoming national launches in Chicago and Washington D.C. later this summer.
