Inland Empire Health Plan Opens Its First Community Resource Center
RANCHO CUCAMONGA, Calif., April 17, 2015 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Inland Empire Health Plan (IEHP) announces the grand opening of its first Community Resource Center (CRC). It is scheduled to open its doors to the people of San Bernardino and adjacent cities on Saturday, April 18, 2015.
The IEHP CRC will provide FREE classes to Members and the community. Its purposes are:
- To help Members learn how to use their IEHP benefits.
- To offer a venue for the community to take health and fitness classes (e.g., asthma management, Zumba fitness, IEHP Member Orientation, and more).
- To offer a place where people can find out how to get affordable health coverage.
- To connect people to other community resources.
"Our CRC will help IEHP to reestablish a visible presence in the city of San Bernardino," says Dr. Bradley P. Gilbert, Chief Executive Officer of IEHP. "It will be a local site where anyone, including our Members, can connect with IEHP."
Many IEHP Members who live in the area can enjoy the resources available through the CRC. This brick-and-mortar presence will provide another channel for Members, who now reach out to IEHP via phone and online.
"Because of its central location at the Marshalls Plaza, the new CRC is positioned to have a positive impact on San Bernardino," adds Susan Arcidiacono, IEHP Chief Marketing Officer. "We're happy that we found a great location to focus on the well-being of the community."
Visit the CRC at 805 West 2nd Street, Suite C, San Bernardino, CA 92410 (at the Marshalls Plaza). To learn more, go to iehp.org/crc. Or, call the IEHP CRC at 1-866-228-4347.
