NEW YORK, April 3, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- InkHouse, an integrated public relations, social media and content agency, today launched an office in New York City, building off the firm's rapid growth and success in its other three offices, in Boston, Providence and San Francisco. Nicole Bestard, a former journalist and leader at Spark PR and SHIFT Communications, will head the office as executive vice president and general manager.
"The InkHouse approach is different. We believe in doing what works now, not what is typically done. We believe in progress over process, and we're not afraid of change at a time of enormous disruption -- in fact, we're embracing it," said InkHouse CEO and co-founder Beth Monaghan. "Nicole is the right person with the kind of intellectual curiosity and tenacity to extend our innovative approach into New York, where we've been doing business and working with the media for years."
Nicole is a storyteller first and she uses her journalistic experience to create successful client campaigns for everything from luxury lifestyle and consumer brands to deep enterprise technologies. In fact, her broad interests and capabilities, which include crisis communications and a commitment to mentoring junior staff, is at the core of why she is the perfect person to introduce the InkHouse way to New York.
She most recently served as managing director/senior vice president of the east coast enterprise practice for Spark PR, and was vice president for New York consumer and B2B technology teams at SHIFT Communications.
"I'm thrilled to be joining the team at InkHouse. I've long admired their commitment to integrity—in content, in fostering strong teams, and in relationships with media and clients—and the stellar work they do as a result," said Nicole Bestard. "And I'm so excited to be launching InkHouse in New York. The creative and entrepreneurial energy of this city is well-matched to InkHouse's dogged, integrated and innately agile approach. There's an enormous opportunity here to share our clients' stories first-hand with the media, and to double-down on elevating the role of PR in world where quality storytelling is at risk despite the known benefits to business and the world at large," she says.
InkHouse, 10 years old 100 employees and 95 clients, is one of the fastest-growing agencies in the country. The firm opened a San Francisco office in 2013 and Providence earlier this year. InkHouse's award-winning programs focus on constant innovation and what's next in storytelling for PR and marketing, offering integrated campaigns for media, content, social media, design, filmmaking and paid editorial all in one place.
InkHouse's client roster includes Bentley University, Equity Office, Eaze, Hired, General Catalyst, OfferUp, Toyota Research Institute, and many others.
The InkHouse New York office will be co-located with client and partner Neoscape Inc. at 256 West 38th Street.
