Gordon, one of Fortune's 50 most powerful women in business, has been Chairman, President & CEO of Ingredion since 2009. During that time she oversaw the $1.3 billion acquisition of National Starch. In a world where over one-half of mergers fail to add value, Gordon led the company through a successful integration and re-branding process. The Company's name was changed to Ingredion (from Corn Products International) to better reflect their position as an innovative, customer-focused provider of ingredient solutions.
Gordon is expected to discuss how she was able to address, identify, execute, and integrate a business transformation strategy, altering the growth trajectory of the company. She will also answer audience questions during the Q&A portion moderated by Deb DeHaas, Vice Chairman, Central Region Managing Partner & Chief Inclusion Officer, Deloitte LLP.
KPMG is a platinum series sponsor for the Global Leaders Luncheon series. Other sponsors include Girl Scouts of Greater Chicago and NW Indiana, JPMorgan Chase, Northwestern Memorial Hospital and Slack & Company.
Upcoming Executives' Club programs include David Cote, Chairman & CEO of Honeywell on March 20th and Robert A. Iger, Chairman & CEO of The Walt Disney Company on April 18th.
