Ingersoll Rand Leader Shares Green Building Principles, Practices and Policies at Globe 2010
- Dane Taival to present recommendations for project funding and incentives for organizations -
VANCOUVER, March 18 /PRNewswire/ -- Buildings are significant consumers of energy and major contributors to global greenhouse gas emissions. Organizations are discovering the importance of employing green building practices and principles not only to raise the level of its building's operational performance but also to make it more environmentally friendly.
Dane Taival, vice president of global contracting solutions for Hussmann and Trane businesses of Ingersoll Rand, will be speaking at the Globe 2010 conference as part of panel discussion Eco Communities: Designing a Sustainable Future. The panel will explore how cities and communities are becoming more sustainable through better planning, integrated developments and the design of resource-efficient buildings.
During the session, Taival will present recommendations for implementing energy and operational efficiency practices within organizations. His discussion will focus on project funding and incentives in Canada, the United States and rest of the world.
