MIAMI, Jan. 17, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Discovery en Espanol travels to Latin America in MISION INNOVACION, an original miniseries that goes beyond the brands for an inside look at the history, operations and successes of some of the region's most prestigious companies. MISION INNOVACION will air Mondays at 7PM E/ 4PM P starting January 27.

The first episode in the miniseries features the automaker Nissan and its plant in Mexico, which exports vehicles to more than 100 countries and employs around 6,200 people. The episode follows engineers, technicians and other staff as they prepare to take on a new challenge: completing a vehicle every 55 seconds to meet the growing demand for cars. In the process, viewers can observe each step involved in making a car and the vital role employees' ingenuity, dedication and creativity play in the company's success.
The second episode will also air on Monday, January 27 at 7:30PM E/ 4:30 PM P, and the series will continue on February 3 at 7PM E/ 4PM P.
