Infragistics Announces NetAdvantage Ultimate 2011 Volume 2
Investments in data visualization and business intelligence empowers users to develop high-fidelity, meaningful UIs across multi-platforms
CRANBURY, N.J. and ELSTREE, England, Nov. 10, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Infragistics, the user experience design software company and a world leader in user interface (UI) development tools, announced today the availability of NetAdvantage® Ultimate 2011 Volume 2. With a focus on data visualization and business intelligence, Infragistics empowers users to develop and deliver compelling user experiences across all platforms, including Windows, Android, and iOS.
NetAdvantage Ultimate 11.2 marks the debut of NetAdvantage Reporting. This feature-rich UI toolset gives developers the ability to deliver elegant business reports that lets users generate actionable insight. NetAdvantage Reporting binds data from multiple sources and displays it in formats that make designing reports convenient and simple. With server-side and client-side rendering, NetAdvantage Reporting supports all platforms and enables print and export to Microsoft Excel and PDF.
"End users expect the same fluid experiences across all platforms, irrespective of the size and shape of their device," said Dean Guida, CEO of Infragistics. "With our investment in today's popular platforms – such as HTML5, Android and iOS – we deliver cross-platform UI toolsets that enable our customers to create better, more modern applications faster. This customer value translates into UIs that are meaningful and result in the best user experiences possible."
Highlights in this release of NetAdvantage Ultimate include:
- Increased business intelligence and data analysis capabilities. Infragistics' OLAP Grid and Data Chart enhancements enable users to drill into their data for quick interpretation and action.
- Enhanced delivery of Excel-like experiences across all product platforms.
- Continued investment in Infragistics' Unified XAML product strategy. As many of the Silverlight and WPF XAML controls share a single unified code base, Infragistics enables as much re-use as possible across XAML products and continues to push to create new shared controls.
- Styling and branding capabilities across all platforms enabling end users to easily customize the look at feel of their application.
- Continued commitment to mature platforms (Windows Forms, ASP.NET). As much of the industry moves on to new technologies, Infragistics continues to invest in the mature platforms and when ready, helps customers transition to new technologies as they need them.
- SharePoint Web Parts developer-only license to build, set and test code-free dashboards and visualize Key Performance Indicators and actionable metrics.
With new features and enhancements across all of Infragistics ten UI toolsets, NetAdvantage Ultimate 2011 Volume 2 continues to focus on ease of use, styling and high performance scenarios for line of business, data visualizations and business productivity.
