InfoSpi Set to Acquire its First Company as Part of a Strategic Plan in the Municipal Waste Arena
FT. LAUDERDALE, Fla., Jan 26 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- InfoSpi Inc. (OTC Bulletin Board: ISPI) an emerging company in the Environmental Technologies Sector, today announced that they have signed a Memorandum of Understanding to acquire the business and intellectual property of Integral Bioenergies Systems, SL (IBS).
IBS (www.ibsenergies.eu) has developed and protected a proprietary technology process that allows the treatment of biomass/sludge obtained at sewage-treatment plants. The result of such process is a high grade Biofuel fuel from which an insignificant amount is used to drive the plant leaving the bulk of the production available for sale on the open market. Currently this source of energy (sludge) is being sent to land fills around the world. Using the patented system we are able to recover valuable minerals and water which would otherwise be lost. Those countries expressing serious interest include Mexico, Brazil, Israel and the United States.
"The technology developed by a European consortium basically ticks all the box's if you are in the Municipal Solid Waste Business," said Haim Mayan. He went on to say that in the United Sates alone, over 7.2 Million Metric Tonnes of dried solid waste is taken to land fill sites to be disposed of every year, that's 64 pounds of bio-solids per person.
Chris Hamilton, the CEO added, "The process, once installed will eliminate the problem completely by eradicating the need to transport these solids around the country. And, oil produced can be used to generate Electricity which can be put back into the local network or can be turned into Biofuel and Fertilizers."
The deal is expected to be concluded by the end of March 2010.
