Rankings to Be Revealed at the Annual InformationWeek Elite 100 Conference in May
SAN FRANCISCO, Feb. 17, 2016 – InformationWeek has released an alphabetized list of its annual InformationWeek Elite 100, a compilation of companies that are the most innovative and imaginative users of business technology. The rankings of the 100 best-in-class organizations will be unveiled during an awards gala at the annual InformationWeek Elite 100 Conference; a two-day executive-level event taking place May 2-3, 2016, at the Four Seasons Hotel in Las Vegas. The theme of the conference is "How to Build a World-Class IT Enterprise – A Celebration of the InformationWeek Elite 100."
"We're very excited to announce our list of finalists ahead of the conference for the first time in the 28 years InformationWeek has been ranking these stalwart companies," said Brian Gillooly, InformationWeek Elite 100 Conference Co-Chair and VP of Event Content & Strategy for UBM Americas. "By doing so, we're able to properly recognize the achievements of these companies as we build up to the unveiling of the rankings themselves. We'll also be honoring companies in a variety of categories, such as Best Use of Analytics, Best Use of Mobile, and much more. And for the first time, we'll be recognizing our Decade Award winners – the 10 companies that have consistently ranked the highest in our list over the past decade."
The InformationWeek Elite 100 tracks the IT practices of the nation's most innovative organizations and examines the business strategies of these firms across core areas of operations, including technology deployment, IT budgets, business technology infrastructure and strategies. Open to enterprises with $250 million or more in annual revenue, as well as government agencies, the 2016 Elite 100 represents InformationWeek's 28th year ranking the country's most tech-savvy user companies.
