Information Security Expert Doug Landoll Joins Accuvant as Director of Risk and Compliance Management
DENVER, Jan. 5 /PRNewswire/ -- Accuvant, a leading provider of information security, risk and compliance management consulting services, announced today that Doug Landoll has been named director of Accuvant's Risk and Compliance Management (RCM) practice.
Landoll, who brings more than 20 years of information security experience to the position, will be responsible for overseeing Accuvant's strategic risk and compliance management initiatives. Previously, Landoll served as founder and chief strategist for Lantego LLC, an information security consulting firm focused on security risk assessments, compliance management and remediation.

Prior to Lantego, Landoll was a senior analyst with the National Security Agency. He has been responsible for evaluating security for the CIA, DoD, FBI, NATO and other government agencies as well as many commercial organizations. Landoll also founded Veridyn Security Consulting, co-founded the Arca Common Criteria Testing laboratory, co-authored the Systems Security Engineering - Capability Maturing Model (SSE-CMM) and recently wrote The Security Risk Assessment Handbook. Landoll is a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) and Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA); he holds a degree in computer science from James Madison University and an MBA from the University of Texas in Austin.
Evan Tegethoff, former director for Accuvant's RCM practice, is taking on the new role of solutions architect. As part of this, Tegethoff will be responsible for helping drive the RCM practice's sales and marketing efforts and developing consulting offerings that better align with client needs.
