Empire Airlines, a passenger and cargo airline based in Hayden, Idaho, completed a rapid implementation of the Scale Analytic Appliance from Scale Computing, which is based on WebFOCUS Business User Edition. By leveraging Scale's pre-packaged analytic platform, Empire Airlines was able to quickly roll out a self-service analytic environment, which gives employees control over their data. Automatic alerts deliver real-time insights to executives, managers, and operational workers, allowing them to stay abreast of everything from flight delays to mechanical issues. Empire Airlines implemented the appliance with minimal involvement from IT professionals.

Houston Community College (HCC), which operates 23 commuter campuses in Houston, Missouri City, Katy, and Stafford, Texas, created an academic dashboard to deliver actionable insights to faculty, staff, students, and community stakeholders.
