Analyst Update: Senior Management Changes, Quarterly Financial Results, and Rights Offering Update

U.S. stocks continued to surge to record highs on Thursday as the Nasdaq Composite closed at its highest level ever, supported by better than expected corporate earnings. The Nasdaq Composite gained 0.41%, or 20.89 points to close at an all-time record high of 5056.06. The S&P 500 advanced 0.24%, or 4.97 points to 2112.93, and the Dow Jones Industrial Average closed the session at 18,058.69, up 0.11% or 20.42 points. European stocks mostly closed lower on Thursday as investors remained vigil on Greece's debt turmoil and cash crunch situation. Germany's DAX 30 and France's CAC 40 dropped 1.21% and 0.62%, respectively, while London's FTSE 100 gained modestly by 0.3% on Thursday. Meanwhile, Asian stock markets mostly advanced on Thursday as the Shanghai Composite and Japan's Nikkei both closed higher.
China Southern Airlines Co Ltd (ADR) released a notice informing the resignation of its independent non-executive director, Mr. Wei Jin Cai. The Company further highlighted that the resignation tendered to the Board shall take effect upon the date of the effective appointment of the new independent non-executive director of the Company, in accordance with the "Guidance Opinions on the Establishment of Independent Director System by Listed Companies" issued by the China Securities Regulatory Commission and the articles of association of the Company.
PRGX Global Inc. has scheduled to hold its first quarter 2015 financial results call on April 28, 2015. The Company will release its financial results for the first quarter 2015 at approximately 7:00 a.m. ET on Tuesday, April 28, 2015. Following the results release, the Company's management will hold the conference call at 8:30 a.m. ET to discuss those results.
China Distance Education Holdings Ltd (ADR) reported its financial results for the first quarter of fiscal year 2015. The Company posted a revenue growth of 14.9% YoY to $21.5 Million, exceeding guidance. China Distance Education's net income also stood up with a 33.9% YoY at $4.6 Million. Gross profit of the Company rose 13.5% YoY to $11.6 million, while operating income grew 26.1% YoY to $4.8 million.
Voltari Corp. reported that it has closed its previously announced offering of transferable subscription rights to purchase up to an aggregate of 4,300,000 shares of the Company's common stock, $0.001 par value per share.
Lam Research Corporation reported its financial results for the March 2015 quarter (period ended March 29, 2015). The Company clocked in revenue of $1,393 million, up 13% QoQ, while gross margin was $600.6 million, or 43.1% of revenue.
