InfinityQS ProFicient 5.2 Enhances User Experience and Derives Manufacturing Intelligence from Acceptance Sampling Data to Improve Quality and Efficiency
Debuted at Infusion Chicago, this latest version of the Enterprise Quality Hub commemorates InfinityQS' 25 years of helping global manufacturers take control of quality
FAIRFAX, Va., Oct. 14, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- InfinityQS International, Inc., the global authority on real-time quality and Manufacturing Intelligence, debuted InfinityQS ProFicient 5.2 last week during Infusion Chicago, the company's 9th Manufacturing Intelligence Conference. The latest version of the Enterprise Quality Hub commemorates 25 years of serving global manufacturers by further boosting the flexibility of the platform, improving user experience and deriving actionable intelligence from acceptance sampling data.
ProFicient 5.2 includes the following features and benefits:
- Improved User Experience: InSight, ProFicient's web-based analytics portal, now allows for an even better user experience. The platform's cloud-based reporting feature has more options for creating and customizing reports, including new templates. This enables users to recreate reports that they are already providing to management or customers within the system.
- Flexible Acceptance Sampling Options: Manufacturers can incorporate acceptance sampling plans of their choosing into the platform and comply with the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) and the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) standards. This includes plans based on American National Standards Institute (ANSI) / American Society for Quality (ASQ) Z1.4 and Z1.9, Lot Tolerance Percent Defective (LTPD), Zero Acceptance Number Sampling Plans (C=0), or an accepted custom plan.
- Manufacturing Intelligence from Acceptance Sampling Data: Using ProFicient InSight, ProFicient 5.2 Acceptance Sampling derives actionable intelligence from standard acceptance sampling data through in-depth comparative analyses from one lot, manufacturer or supplier to another. By identifying differences or discrepancies in how components are produced across the supply chain, manufacturers can improve efficiency and quality, while reducing defects.
Also during Infusion Chicago, InfinityQS welcomed client success stories highlighting projects from industry-leading manufacturers, such as Coloplast, the Kellogg Company, Biomet, General Cable, King and Prince Seafood, and Snak King. Held Oct. 9-10, 2014, the Manufacturing Intelligence Conference taught attendees how to give metrics meaning, identify areas for improvement and turn manufacturing data into actionable intelligence.
Michael Lyle, president and CEO, InfinityQS, said, "The abundance of data that manufactures amass can be overwhelming. Throughout the quarter century that we have worked side-by-side with some of the world's leading manufacturers, we have learned that when harnessed, those data are the difference between good manufacturing operations and long-term manufacturing success. It is our pleasure to continue serving quality professionals and manufacturing technology experts in the quest to take control of quality and better understand the meaning behind the data."
InfinityQS ProFicient is a proven Manufacturing Intelligence platform powered by a robust, centralized SPC analytical software engine.
