FAIRFAX, Va., Oct. 2, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- InfinityQS International, Inc., the global authority on real-time quality and Manufacturing Intelligence, today announces key client speakers for Infusion Chicago, its 9th Manufacturing Intelligence Conference. The event will be held Oct. 9-10, 2014, at the Chicago Marriott Downtown Magnificent Mile. Presentations include projects from Coloplast, The Kellogg Company, Biomet, General Cable, King and Prince Seafood, and Snak King. The two-day event will also include best practice presentations from InfinityQS statisticians and engineers.
Client presentations include:
Coloplast Manufacturing US: Recarda Schmitz, technical services manager, will discuss how InfinityQS ProFicient helped Coloplast Mankato comply with FDA requirements while saving an estimated 1,300 labor hours after one year of full use after implementation. Schmitz will detail the journey from implementation and lessons learned to the evolution and future of ProFicient within Coloplast.

Biomet Implementation Study: Mari Tomizawa, student at Purdue University and former quality engineering co-op at Biomet, will outline techniques to successfully implement and expand ProFicient. Key points include designing strong pilot studies, gaining corporate support, establishing low-maintenance ProFicient systems and managing large organizational changes.
Client Expert Panel Discussion: Panelists will discuss using analytics to intervene before problems occur, what should be measured and what analytics other departments use.
- General Cable: Zack Tran, information technologies, Lean Sigma Black Belt
- King and Prince Seafood: Tracy McConnell, vice president of technical services
- Snak King: Brad McClave, IT director
During Infusion Chicago, attendees will have the opportunity to learn how to give metrics meaning, identify areas for improvement and turn manufacturing data into actionable intelligence. Blocks of time will be allotted to schedule one-on-one consultations with an InfinityQS industrial statistician, engineer, developer or support staff; learn what's new in ProFicient; and participate in discussion groups on numerous pressing topics detailed in the full agenda on the event website.
Michael Lyle, president and CEO, InfinityQS, said, "As many organizations are struggling to make sense of the quality data they collect, these manufacturers are excelling in not only understanding the data, but also utilizing them to make strategic business decisions. With the right technology in place, manufacturers can use Manufacturing Intelligence to attain visibility across operations within the enterprise and across the supply chain. With the ability to compare processes from plant to plant or supplier to supplier, manufacturers can also ensure a high level of efficiency, quality and process optimization."
Each complimentary registration includes: one conference pass, onsite meals and evening reception, hands-on interaction with the latest ProFicient features, valuable networking opportunities with quality-minded peers and take-home conference materials. To request an invitation, contact an InfinityQS representative at 1-800-772-7978, or by email at [email protected].
