Infiniti Reports July 2011 Sales

FRANKLIN, Tenn., Aug. 2, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Infiniti today reported U.S. sales of 7,410 units for July, a decrease of 24.1 percent versus 9,764 units a year earlier.  Calendar year-to-date Infiniti sales of 54,678 are down 4.2 percent compared to the 57,064 units sold during the same period last year.

Sales of every Infiniti vehicle increased over last month, supporting an 18 percent increase overall, as full production resumed and more than 10,000 new vehicles, including the popular Infiniti G Line and new Infiniti M Hybrid, became available.

"As thousands of new Infiniti luxury vehicles arrived for customer delivery, we began to see our sales rebound in the last half of July," said Ben Poore, vice president, Infiniti Americas.  "With our 'Limited Engagement Summer Event' in full swing, not only will buyers find a good supply of all Infiniti models, but the best offers of the year."

Later this month at the Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance, Infiniti will debut the Infiniti JX Concept, which previews a new 7-passenger luxury crossover that will join the line next spring, as well as the updated 2012 Infiniti FX that goes on sale in October.
