HONG KONG, March 18, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Infiniti today announced that Stefan Weinmann has been named General Manager, Infiniti Global Communications, effective April 1st.

As General Manager, Infiniti Global Communications, Weinmann will be responsible for leading Infiniti's Global Communications including Product, Lifestlye, Internal and Corporate Communications.
In this newly created position, he will be based at Infiniti's Hong Kong Global Headquarters and will report directly to Johan de Nysschen, President of Infiniti Motor Company Ltd.

Weinmann joins Infiniti Motor Company Ltd. from Adam Opel AG in Germany where most recently he was General Director, Internal and Alliance Communications with previous responsibility for Opel Corporate Affairs. He held a variety of external and internal, strategic and tactical and national and international roles with Opel and General Motors in the 22 years that he worked with the company.

Weinmann is a German national and has a Mathematics/Economics degree from the University of Karlsruhe.
