Infinite Campus Receives SIMS Compliance Approval from the Massachusetts Department of Education

("Custom"), a leading technology solutions provider and the Northeast Regional Alliance Partner for Infinite Campus, is pleased to announce that the Massachusetts Department of Education had verified that Infinite Campus is Student Information Management System ("SIMS") compliant. This designation acknowledges that the Infinite Campus District Edition is capable of meeting the requirements to manage and exchange student and staff information with the Massachusetts Department of Education.

To receive SIMS compliancy, Infinite Campus met the following requirements:

The ability to electronically submit student information system data from the districts to the DOE three times a year.
A safe, electronic portal environment through which data and other communications can be exchanged between districts and the DOE.
SASID management, a unique State Assigned Student Identifier for all students receiving a publicly funded education in Massachusetts.

This designation was awarded on October 16, 2009, and is available in version 2009.1 of the Infinite Campus District Edition.
