Infinio Accelerator Now In Public Beta

SAN FRANCISCO, Aug. 26, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- VMworld -- Infinio, inventor of downloadable storage performance, announced today at VMworld 2013 the opening of its public beta program. The company's first product, Infinio Accelerator, is now available for beta testing by qualified customers.  Live demonstrations of the product will be available at Infinio's booth, number 410, in the VMworld Solutions Exchange.

The company is also announcing the product's pricing at $499 per socket (including the first year of maintenance) when it is generally available, in Q4 of this year. Because Infinio offers a software-only solution to what has traditionally been a hardware problem, this pricing compares very favorably with SSD-dependent solutions from other vendors.
