STERLING, Va., April 16, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- InferX Corporation (OTCQB: NFRX), announced today that it has been awarded a contract by one of the world's largest systems integration firms to support an agency of the Department of Treasury. The InferX team will provide predictive analytics support services to enhance critical social media business processes for citizen business information systems.

The advanced analysis provided by InferX through the application of predictive analytics technology will significantly enhance the Agency's ability to make meaningfully comparisons, and evaluate key support measurement variables for our citizen customers. At a time of tight budget constraints, there are increasingly high demands for multi-modal interfaces for customer interaction within the Agency. InferX will provide the framework that links people, information, and decision-making processes for enabling citizens to get a complete view of key information metrics. This enhanced ability for information collection, fusion, and analysis will provide the Agency leadership with the ability to conduct across-the-board scrutiny and keep pace with evolving customer service demands.
This project will provide the Agency the ability to optimize the citizen experience during interactions with the customer support infrastructure. The Agency will have the ability to streamline customer support, i.e. on-line (website), call center and IVR; so as to respond to changing citizen requirements in the most efficient manner with the best information delivered in a succinct manner. The application of advanced analytics provides the Government with the ability to predict needs and correlate it for provide quality information to the citizen. This will result in reduced costs associated with call-center, IVR and customer support infrastructure and enhance customer support.
