Infantino Introduces New Line of Feeding Products for Infants
Partners with UK's Bestselling Kids Cookbook Author Annabel Karmel
SAN DIEGO, Feb. 8 /PRNewswire/ -- Infantino® is teaming up with worldwide culinary expert Annabel Karmel to offer U.S. consumers a new line of storage and feeding ware designed for infants and toddlers. Based in the U.K., Karmel is a bestselling author of books on nutrition and cooking for children. Her extensive line of feeding ware will be distributed in the U.S. in partnership with Infantino, a member of The Step2® Company.
Infantino, a major player in infant, toddler, and preschool categories, will offer the Annabel Karmel 'Make It Easy' line to families in the U.S. as a continuation of the brand's commitment to providing relevant tools for parents at affordable prices. Products in the new line from Karmel include a masher and bowl, food mill and stackable food pots – enabling parents to freeze fruit, puree vegetables and strain food, as well as store and take for eating on-the-go.
"Infantino is excited to bring this great brand to the U.S. Annabel Karmel shares our passion and we are excited to be working with her," said Senior Brand Manager for Infantino, Colette Cosky. "I know first hand making food for an infant is not only economical but also a heartfelt exercise. By offering this system of products designed to all work together, we are helping to make parents' lives easier in their ongoing quest to feed their children the best, freshest foods available."
Annabel Karmel is the mother of three children, a bestselling author of numerous books on nutrition and cooking for babies and toddlers, and a familiar face on British television. Annabel travels frequently to the United States, where her books on feeding babies and young children are very popular. She has appeared on "The Today Show," "Live with Regis and Kelly" and "The View." Karmel has three new books that will be published in the U.S. this year, "Top 100 Finger Foods," "You Can Cook" and "Starting Solids."
"Infantino and I share the same sensibility and knack for innovative design and pragmatic-but-fun features," said Karmel. "I am happy to offer my products with such a reputable brand that will reach so many parents to help put fresh, natural foods into children's diet easily and inexpensively. Babies who enjoy fresh, healthy, and nutritious foods early on are more likely to keep those healthy eating habits throughout life."
The 'Make It Easy' line will be available nationwide this spring. The products range in price from $5.99 to $15.99.
