Whole Foods Market, the supermarket chain that revolutionized the way we shop, has done it again.  This holiday season, Whole Foods Market will be selling a unique collection of plush dolls made by Indy Plush in their Whole Body department.

These are not your typical "stuffed animals."  These dolls are made by Indy Plush. Indy Plush is a Green America Certified organization located in Los Angeles, California.  Indy Plush conceptualizes, designs, makes and stuffs each doll by hand in the USA.  The filler in the dolls is made from 100% recycled plastic bottles that are melted and spun like cotton candy.

Eleven of the designs represent an endangered animal. Indy Plush created a unique Black Rhino plush that is only available at Whole Foods Market this holiday season. The collection also includes a Diane Fossey® Baby Mountain Gorilla, a Diane Fossey® adult East Lowland Gorilla, an Asian Elephant, a Giant Panda, a Grizzly Bear, a Javan Rhino, a Bengal Tiger, a Puma, a Mountain Lion and a Leatherback Turtle.  Two other plush dolls are part of the Shark Angels® collection: the Black Tip and Hammerhead Sharks.  Indy Plush partners with non-profits that protect animal habitats and donates a portion of the sales to each non-profit organization to help bring awareness about protecting the earth and its eco-systems.
