Industry Veteran Richard Jacik Joins Acentia as Health Sector Executive
FALLS CHURCH, Va., Aug. 11, 2014 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Acentia today announced that Richard Jacik has joined the company as Senior Vice President and Sector Executive for Health. Jacik replaces Mike Raymond who is retiring. Jacik will lead the execution of the Sector's business strategy and will oversee all contracts, business development, and operations activities. He will report to Acentia President and COO Robert McCord.

Prior to joining Acentia, Jacik served as Vice President and Senior Account Executive over a portfolio of strategic growth-oriented accounts, including the Food and Drug Administration (FDA), Office of the National Coordinator; Department of the Treasury; Defense Health Agency (DHA); and Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) for CGI. He was responsible for group and program management, business strategy and development, and associated financial management. Jacik also led the Healthcare Interoperability Practice that supported clients in the federal, commercial, and non-profit space.
Jacik also ran the Quality and Process Improvement practice whose team of practitioners supported Lean Six Sigma, process improvement and High-Maturity CMMI initiatives both to customers and internal organizations. His team invented and supported a line of process automation tools that support ongoing process improvements and are in use in dozens of organizations. Jacik was the project sponsor and executive-in-charge to achieving a CMMI Maturity Level 5 assessment in 2011 and 2012, joining only nine other U.S. organizations to achieve that distinction under the current version of the CMMI model.
