Industry Veteran Partners with Private Equity to Expand Capabilities and Extend Reach of Top Third-Party-Logistics Provider

LOS ANGELES, March 18, 2014 /PRNewswire-iReach/ -- Saybrook Capital today announced that James T. "Jim" DeVeau has joined Taylored Services LLC as Chief Executive Officer.   In this role, DeVeau also becomes an owner of the business.

Jim DeVeau joins Taylored Services from Toll Global Forwarding, a Division of Toll Global where he most recently directed the company's Supply Chain Services business development in the America's, and footwear on a global basis.  In his new role, DeVeau will lead Taylored Services with a focus towards improving its operations and customer focus, and expanding its footprint.  He will also oversee a rebranding of the company, which maintains six (6) facilities totaling more than 1.3 million square feet located close to major ports in New York / New Jersey and Southern California.

During the past 25 years, DeVeau has held a variety of roles encompassing all aspects of supply chain management, from origin to destination through integrated global logistics and distribution networks.  For most of his career, he has specialized in the field of retail logistics and has worked at a number of retail powerhouses including Footstar, Charming Shoppes, Ann Taylor and Lord & Taylor.

A graduate of Northeastern University, Jim is a resident of New Jersey.  In his new role, he will split his time between the east and west coast and will be based out of New York, New York and Los Angeles, CA.
