Industry Veteran from Schnieder Electric, GE, Siemens to Lead North American Sales for Varentec
SAN JOSE, Calif., Jan. 23, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Varentec™, the first provider of intelligent Grid Edge Control™ solutions for electric utilities, today announced the appointment of David Konye as Vice President of Sales. Konye will be responsible for all sales and customer management for both the utility and commercial sectors in North America.

Dave Konye joins Varentec from Schneider Electric, where he was National Sales Director for their Electric Utilities Smart Grid infrastructure business. Prior to Schneider, Dave held executive sales and marketing positions with GE Fanuc, Power Measurement Ltd., Siemens, and Hays Lemmerz. He holds a BSEE from General Motors Engineering & Management Institute (Kettering University).
