GRANGER, Iowa, Aug. 6, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- Barr-Nunn Transportation, the 13 year Certified Top Pay Carrier, is at it again with more pay raises for their drivers. So far in 2018 Barr-Nunn has raised pay and bonuses a total of 28 times and they are not done yet. All company drivers in all fleets have received a pay raise already in 2018.
These raises include starting pay rates as high as $0.60 per Practical mile for solo OTR drivers and $0.81 per Practical mile for Teams. Regional drivers can earn a starting pay rate of $0.56 per Practical mile in the Northeast and $0.54 per Practical mile in Ohio and Virginia fleets.
One of Barr-Nunn's cornerstone driver programs is their CSA Safety Bonus that all company drivers are eligible to earn every 90 days. This program now pays $825 per driver for Teams and $725 for solo drivers every 90 days plus Paid Time Off (Vacation) as well.
Barr-Nunn also now offers a Free rider program to Company drivers from day 1 of employment. In addition, Detention, Layover, and Stop Pay have also all been increased.
