The compact unit offers maximum design flexibility with a variety of pressure ports and electrical configurations available for low to medium volume OEM applications.
The U5300 accurately measures liquid or gas pressure in difficult media, such as contaminated water, steam and mildly corrosive fluids, in high end, high accuracy applications. These include military, aerospace and automotive test stands as well as calibration equipment, stationary motor fuel control and industrial machinery.
Measurement Specialties' unique UltraStable technology enables the pressure transducer to provide excellent performance and long-term stability over an extended operating temperature range of -40 degrees C to +125 degrees C.
Each unit's internal circuitry is protected from reverse wiring at input and short circuit at output for added reliability.
The U5300 offers exceptional accuracy of +/-0.1% accuracy F.S. BFSL. Standard pressures range from 0 psi to 15 psi through 0 psi to 10,000 psi, with intermediate ranges available.
This rugged pressure transducer can withstand shock to 50 g for 11 msec half sine per MIL-STD-202G as well as vibration of +/-20 g according to MIL-STD-810C.
The weatherproof U5300 comes in gage, sealed, absolute or compound configurations, and exceeds current heavy industrial CE requirements, including surge protection. The durable device is made of 316L stainless steel, has no O-rings or welds and no organics are exposed.
Custom designs are available upon request.
